Adult Ministry

Our Mission Statement at CEFC is to live “All of Life for Christ.”

Whether we are at home, at work, with our neighbors, or in our community, we want our personal relationship with Jesus Christ to affect the way we do everything. We believe that living “All of Life for Christ” honors God and also helps us to live useful lives that are personally fulfilling.

We have not arrived yet at the place where we live “All of Life for Christ”, but we invite you to join us on the journey.  Three activities are vital if we are going to get there … Growing, Praising and Serving.

Our G.P.S. for the Journey

Open Arms Ministry Support Group is a Christ-centered ministry for those at CEFC, and in the wider community, who are caring for children or adults with special needs.

Living “All of Life for Christ” begins with personal learning and growth (G) but it will not end there. A growing relationship with Christ will lead to practical expressions of praise (P) to God and service (S) of others.

P – Praising

Sunday mornings are a time when we come together to honor God and celebrate what He means to us. During our Sunday Worship Services, we use prayer, Scripture, singing and the arts to help us focus on God and proclaim our praises to Him. The Pastor’s messages are based upon the Bible and what God says to us today. As we come together to praise and honor God, we encounter His presence and find His help for the journey.

S – Serving

God has uniquely created each one of us for service. Each Christ follower has a ministry within the church and a mission to reach out to others around the world. Healthy growth will lead to fruitful and fulfilling service. At CEFC we offer Workshops to help us thing through what this practically means for each one of us.
